History of Decor & More Inc.

Founded by Leslee Bell in 1989, at a  time when the industry primarily consisted of rental companies and prop shops,  Leslee envisioned significant opportunity to pioneer a holistic, experiential approach to event design and bring a new kind of creative talent to the marketplace.  With a continued commitment to excellence and innovation, Decor & More Inc. has become Canada’s most-awarded full-service event design and production firm.

In April 2005, Leslee was the inaugural recipient of the Canadian Special Events Lifetime Achievement Award, the "Spirit Award," not only in recognition for her incredible creativity, but also for her contributions and dedication to increasing the professionalism of the special events industry.

While D&M carries an enviable history in the Canadian marketplace, the creative genius of the organization also carries international acclaim, as evidenced by Decor & More Inc. being the most-awarded company worldwide at the 2006 ISES Esprit Awards in Honolulu, Hawaii. 

These milestones certainly make us proud of our past accomplishments, but we keep this in proper perspective.  They are a celebration of our past work and a wonderful reflection of the trust our clients have in our services, but today's inspiration and excitement comes from our current and prospective clients who challenge us to create tomorrow's leading corporate meetings and events.
