While bigger is not always better, when it comes to the special events business, we believe that having a broad and deep team of event professionals is critical to meeting, or exceeding, our clients' demanding mandates. Consider, for example the following:
» Having a larger team ensures greater customer service. A common misconception is because of our large size, clients won't receive the care they would at a smaller shop. In many companies, there is one person servicing you, and attempting to take care of everything by themselves. At D&M you have an entire team supporting you: sales, designers, graphic artists, floral designers, event coordinators and production crew.
» Producing a large number of events each year allows us to continually stay at the forefront of creative excellence. It's one thing to create a half-dozen events a year, but the creative demands of executing 400 events per year builds the creative momentum that our staff, and our clients, thrive on.

What kind of budget do I need?
The budget you need is really driven by what the purpose of your event is, the demographic of those that will be attending, and the mix of event elements (e.g. decor, food and beverage, entertainment, environment) that best delivers that experience to your guests.

Do you offer rental inventory?
We do offer a selection of lounge furniture, stage decor, backdrops, accent lighting, bars, occasional tables, and numerous props as rental inventory. Given our art and carpentry shop, we can also work with you to create custom props, given adequate lead-time and budget. Please note, customers must have an appropriately outfitted truck (commercial type vehicle with load-bars, straps and packing blankets) to ensure all rented items maintain their quality. Delivery is also available on rentals in excess of $1,000. The current minimum rental for pick-up at our warehouse is $500.
What methods of payment are available?
All of our contracts are discounted by 2.5% and assume payment will be made on a cash-basis (cheque, wire transfer, etc). Visa and Master Card are accepted, but the cash discount will not apply to these contracts.
